So today we had to go to Sedona to visit a project and so I took Jonas with me. It was a blast. We even had time to have a great lunch. We just found someplace that looked local and it turned out to be really really good. The photo of his hamburger does not do it justice. This thing was huge! He really enjoyed it, and has even had part of his leftovers already today.
While we were there, a nice older lady came up and talked to Jonas. She said how happy she was to see a young man behave so well and enjoy spending time with his Dad. (We were being silly and joking around) She went on to tell us about her oldest boy who was killed in the war when he was 26 years old (this being a few years ago). It was really sad, but it made Jonas feel really good that she said those things about him.
